Maroubra Junction Hotel

Super expensive suburban pub over $10 for my minor craft beer. It's just a shut in miserable pub, although with a lot of TVs, looks like they were promoting the world cup. Nicer than the Glasshouse at least.

I went in for food as it’s local to me and I regularly eat here and I forgot an item one day which had sentimental value to me. When I went back the following day to advise I had lost the item, I was informed that they had been picked up by a staff member and had been left in the lost in found. When they went to get them, they couldn’t find them so to me looks like they were stolen by a staff member and then covered up by the manager. I stated the importance of the item and didn’t seem to care. Wouldn’t recommend this place if you don’t want valuable items stolen from you.

Great pub to sit down, and drink with your mates. Great staff, loved Ben, Gabriella and marisio. Will go again

Been a few times to the Bar, good bar with good service but is a typical drinkers bar!!! Would not be first choice to go out for dinner? But first time at the Bistro with my family and was very impressed. the service was extremely good the food was even better, staff were superb, presentation on the plate was great and flavors terrific. I had a New York Pork dish and was to die for and the apple sauce a must. Wife had a sirloin Steak cooked to perfection, tender and juicy and the pepper sauce was terrific. We had similar food recently at a hatted restaurant and the quality here was on par, and have some great options on the menu that i can't wait to try.

I had very bad experience it cost me 2 days very bad anxiety and panic attacks my phone all my memories one day before NY I was at maroubra junction hotel My mobile phone slipped from my hand and fell in the hole between pokies, I called few girls who worked over the counter and explained what has happened, the girls tried to help me but then supervisor came he just stood there do nothing. Then assistant manager came I explained situation again to her she said I will call my manager and tell him In about 5-10 minutes she came back and said to me my manager will come tomorrow and try to get technicians to move poker machines so we can get the phone she said than Monday morning everything will be done and then he will call me and tell me to get my phone! Next day I waited for a phone call from the manager, no one called me back so I went back there and asked to see the manager His name was DAMON He told me I spend 4 hours looking for your mobile phone and then he asked me show me where you dropped the phone so I showed him and he said your phone is not there I said what do you mean it’s not there check the camera it’s right above where you looked he start telling me we are not going to move anything to get your phone and my voice was raised I was in shock and I tell him the lady said everything will be done by Monday morning The manger replied to me no it’s not the true she couldn’t tell you this I said but she was and he just said to me so than she LIED to you!!!!!! I just look at him and said my phone it’s my life , all my life in there and he reply go do another SIM card!!!!! Then I called the witness who saw me he was standing next to me, then me and manager DAMON went outside and he was very aggressive toward he told me I was abusing I say I wasn’t only I say couple of sentences but with shocking raise voice I just say what your working stuff told me . And he start abusing me go away from here for nothing!!!!! I haven’t say any one bad word or ben aggressive or abusing and he say again I was outside go away I say you can’t talk to me that way and you have cameras inside can proof I wasn’t abusive he say I can go to police and go away I was in shock and he say yeah go go to police and I will get your ID I was in shock again and I said are you trying to threaten me ??????? and he reply to ban you forever!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to police and police say they can’t do anything about it!!!!!!! I went home start crying I have Disability I can’t be without phone specially on NY I can’t sleep my anxiety was very bad for 2 days How people can treat you like that?! For what?! And ban you forever for nothing at all!!!!!Just because my phone was accidentally dropped and no one what’s to do anything to help.
