Fat Chef's Pizzeria - Maroondah

The behavior and jokes made about disabled individuals at this restaurant are absolutely appalling. I will not be ordering from them again. Wheelchair accessibility is extremely important and making jokes about disabled people is unacceptable. The meal I received for dinner was not worth the high price of over A$200 per person. The service and atmosphere also received a rating of 1 out of 5.

It is not a good idea for a restaurant to use ableism as a marketing strategy, especially without any acknowledgment or apology.

Cannot believe the way the manage spoke to me in regards to them getting my order wrong. After the kid who apparently is training but it was the same kid a few weeks ago that made a mistake too. He repeated the order and then ended up with the wrong base. He argued with me and would not even listen to what the issue was. Second time with them mucking up orders in the last month. Never had an issue before but he needs to look at the way he speaks to his customers word of mouth is a powerful thing. I’m all for understanding people training but no need to be rude to the customer.

This restaurant is always amazing. The delivery service is top-notch for dinner. The price per person ranges from A$60 to A$80. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. Highly recommended dishes include the Fat Chef Pizza and Carbonara.
