This tavern provides a very good lunch menu at good value prices with pleasant indoor and outdoor seating.The menu caters for all tastes from steak, fish, vegetarian and salads.The service is good and the staff are very friendly.The quality of the food is good and the meals came with generous helpings and served hot. The drinks are purchased from the bar and can be added to a tab to cover the total cost.We often go here for a no-nonsence lunch and can recommend anyone to go and see for themselves.

Wow wow wow. seafood platter was to die for with a great bottle of New Zealand wine. This is one of the cleanest pubs i have ever been in. There was great value specials, and friendly happy staff.

Been here several times. Nice quiet pub for a meal.Food: only place I will order a steak as I like well done. It's well done. No pink which is what I like. Most places I send it back. Most won't agree but my choice.Bar service: prompt but not friendly at all. Golden rule: staff own bottom 1/3 of glass. I don't want to put my mouth where their hands have been. Staff happy to chat to regulars only. Still don't seem friendly. Clearly just a job. Couple of staff work like Trojans others...clearly just a job.Bravo to the cooks for my steak continuously well done and all meals served together whether busy or quiet.

This place is disturbing. The bar staff are rude and overcharged me for my drinks. When I brought this to the attention of management they refused to refund the difference. The night just got worse when the food arrived. Ordered steak which was tough and overcooked. Again raised it with management and they refused to refund. This place needs new management and a new cook. There are plenty of good places to eat in Marochydore. This is a place you should avoid

We were a group of about 50 for Saturday night dinner. Great food, huge servings, average prices. Very friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks. Quick service.
