Bidra med feedbackI don't understand why some people complain about Covid safety protocols at restaurants and then blame the staff for enforcing them. There are signs at the entrances informing customers to check in and get a table assigned before sitting down. The process is simple: go to the counter, use the check-in app (including the latest Qld Gov app), place your order, pay, show your check-in confirmation, and then proceed to your assigned table. Unfortunately, some customers who don't follow the procedure take offense when reminded and criticize the business, staff, and food. If you are not happy with employees diligently following government Covid rules to keep everyone safe, then please stay home. I believe the staff do an excellent job under challenging circumstances and provide great service.
I stopped by for a cup of coffee and was greeted by a courteous young employee. She directed me to a seat, but when I asked if I could sit in a more comfortable area of the cafe, she explained that the section I was in was separate from the main cafe and that I had 15 minutes to finish my drink. Despite the cafe being only half full, I was not allowed to sit until I received a green tick during the Covid registration process. When I insisted on sitting down and putting on my glasses, I was scolded by an older lady who worked there. This incident reminded me of why I typically avoid visiting this cafe, as I had witnessed her rudeness towards other customers before. On top of that, the scones I ordered were stale. It's clear that this person needs to learn about proper customer service. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this establishment.
This restaurant offers excellent value for money, serves delicious coffee, and the owners and staff are absolutely fantastic. The team here truly goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience for guests, the food is delicious, and the cleanliness standards are exceptional.
We went here for coffee and cake, and after the payment we were very rudely told that we had only 15 minutes and then had to go. I understand there are Kovid restrictions, but the café was empty and why wait until we paid. The older woman there also served my mother and extremely abruptly. Cake and coffee were all right, but in service disgusted and as we were spoken.
Great place for breky food amazedly presented and staff friendly. Coffee the best .the ambience great
