Bidra med feedbackFortunately, in the last few weeks we have been to the inn “Zur Traube” in Ziegenbach. And that has several reasons: Ziegenbach is an ideal starting point for hiking tours in the Steigerwald or Wine french. The inn has a cozy guest room; traditional and stylishly decorated and decorated without excessive design allures. If you are looking for a modern “Schickimicki” lounge, you should go elsewhere; you can also sit outside in the garden, which is very lovingly designed but not overly decorated. But what would be the most beautiful inn without the hosts and the cook?! Family Pfeufer are hosts (family operation in 3rd generation as you wish. You just feel comfortable and welcome. The son cares for the culinary delights. And that's what he's really doing together with his team. The food is excellent, “ground” in the most positive sense of the word. A lot comes fresh from your own farm or from the surrounding area. Local, seasonal and high quality. The menu offers “classic” such as schnitzel, sausages, roasts etc., but also changing palate delights, which are often very refined but not exaggerated experimentally prepared and combined. We are always thrilled with what Mr Pfeufer can fall in and how great it tastes, e.g. a rehschnitzel with walnut porade or the smoked Haagerella (local mozzarella similar cheese with tomato beet. A special “event” is of course the Kärwa, where the menu is extended accordingly. In addition, in the months with R there are delicious carp dishes, whose selection is still extended in the carp cup weeks. Self-baked cakes, delicious snowballs, cinnamon rolls and other desserts round off the menu sweetly. You don't have to thirst either. Cool beers, refreshing juice choirs (my favorites: Rhabarber and Quitte or a fine selection of Franconian wines can be remedied here. In addition to fresh eggs, honey and others, homemade sausages in the glass or smoked tea can be taken. The smoked sausages (why are really a hit. We are looking forward to the next time at Pfeufers and have added the grapes to our Top 3 restaurant list.
An honest Franconian place. Super fish and wild dishes. In beautiful weather beautiful outdoor sitting in front of the house. Friendly nice and always a trip to Ziegenbach near Iphofen.
I enjoyed everything freshly prepared and very tasty with ferry price and the restaurant is also beautifully decorated.
Unfortunately, we must make the pick-up service due to corona. A gans with sose. ..what a brilliant kitchen!!! But the gans was an increase again... hopefully corona is around...the restaurant deserves it.. that it goes on. Warm, personal and simply delicious!!!
The food was excellent! The cook understands his craft. He even came to the table to find out if everything fits. The entrance was very beautifully decorated, would be nice if you would continue in the guest room. The owners were also very friendly. Family, pleasant atmosphere.
