Bidra med feedbackOn a Sunday lunch in September, the whole sippe, grandma, grandpa, child and cone. Thank God was reserved, others stood for a while. I haven't experienced that since GDR times. Newly furnished location, modern, contemporary, IKEA. Kind of reminded me of one of the many houses of the acquaintances. The audience. First of all, families, probably fast from home in Markleberg or from elsewhere, on Skates. The food was then rather tasty, although sometimes I was afraid that the service will never get through.
Beautiful view Yes. Beautiful ambience Yes. Good food NO. Rarely eaten so badly! 3 tests 3 cases. Apron meat. And even the tomato soup seems to come out of the bag. Too bad that one rests solely on the exclusivity of the site and did not recognize the sense of good gastronomy: to create a kitchen that impresses the guest with its ability and skills and fascinates the culinary delights. Conclusion: Because of the water-outview or a refreshment drink, I find myself back here at larger distances, but in no way because of the food therefore the actual inventiveness of a restaurant.
A family-related short stay in Markkleeberg raised the question where a good meal would be offered in this nice environment. With the cousin living in Böhlen we had the same idea, the lake terraces Cospuden should be. We arrived early and were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the terrace directly on the water. After repeated attempts to alert the waitress to us, we ordered two cool black beers against the first thirst, which were then also served quickly. We didn't want to order food as our company was not complete yet. It was cooler and the terrace emptied, we went to the restaurant and took our new seats in a window. After a good 10 minutes, the waitress once again meant leaving the place because it would already be reserved. The table at the counter would still be free. We cleared the bar stools aside and set up 4 seats here. The ordering of the food was then rather done as an interrogation process. First of all, the appetizers. 2 asparagus scales with salmon insert should be. The salmon then blew up as a ham, but good was the soup, anyway. Main dishes, clear fresh trout should be it and a salad with turkey strips. The trout tasty in bacon were apparently mother and child. The one good 350 gr, the smaller perhaps only 200 gr. see photo: How did you find your trout? Under the bacon cubes! But both were good. The salad was also delicious, said cousin S. We drank good wine (Location Saale Unstrut) and other black beers. Actually, we looked at ourselves as good guests, the sales would have to be such. Further beverages only with express (multiple) request, which continues to be a mistrusting service. In the meantime, attempting to clean up half-empty plates which were defended because of the non-sufficient food stuffing on our part. Around 10:00 a.m., the call to order the last drink, this is probably the end. Somehow, we had the impression that this job, both service personnel, was rather outraged. No nice word to the guests and also only stubborn works behind the vault. Fun at work looks different. The total amount of EUR 89.60 was then rounded to EUR 90,00. In detail: asparagus soup EUR 4,50 very well also without salmon, trout with bacon EUR 14,00 well tasted but at this size and the manageable satisfactory supplements are more pricey. Then all drinks of the evening. Resumé: Great location, super atmosphere but unfortunately service performance as obligatory exercise more 0. Therefore here also only 2 stars, more would have been easy in if you had been more hospitable and a little nicer and more chattering. Too bad it could have been a really nice evening for everyone.
Food was surprisingly good. Unfortunately, we had to wait very long for it (because of a gr. group), which did not seem necessary for the service personnel to mention/excuse me.
After a nice trip or a round at the Cossi you can enjoy a nice culinary exit here. The view and the flair are unique for Leipzig. But disappointment is noticeable in the not consistently good kitchen. I simply find it a pity if, for example, a large orange juice is used more simply, cheaper orange nectar (e.g. The sausage meat is well described in the map, but finally only 0815. We have to work here. One may think that in a balancing act between simple medium and high-level cuisine is tried. Finally, to the service, nice, friendly and competent.
