Bidra med feedbackService really poor, not welcoming, didn't have menus, the ribs main was chargrilled to within an inch of its life and the sauce was it swimming in a centimeter of oil along with the chips. Shared a full bottle of supposedly 11% wine (given to us with the cork already out) , not a hint of alcohol in the whole bottle. Not expensive but still absolutely not worth it
If you had granny in Martina, this is the food she would serve you! Local, simple and really tasty! Home food! Fair price.
My two daughters and I stayed at the Albergue Pitis and had dinner in the restaurant, after a day walking on the Camino del Norte. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The bathrooms in the Albergue were excellent. The food in the restaurant was traditional pilgrim food set meal for Euro 10, including wine. Very friendly service the owner and her daughter were great.
I recently came across this restaurant when I had to go there to get the key to the accommodation the owners offered in an apartment block nearby. I decided to stay for lunch and I had an excellent pilgrim meal- a delicious salad with egg, asparagus and olives, freshly cooked fish with chips and ice cream- all for the reasonable price for 10 euros. Pilgrim meals can vary, but the welcoming owner made a special effort to look after her customers.
Good decent food for hungry pilgrims. Simple and rustic but after a long hike it's great value and hits the spot. Nice bottle of wine to wash it down and all for 10 euro.
