If nothing else it is convenient. When I stay in Markham I almost always stay at the Courtyard hotel and this cafe is the most convenient place to grab a quick breakfast before heading to the office. The service is hit or miss though, depending on who serves you. Some people are very friendly and attentive but some clearly should not be in the food service industry. Anyway, in a pinch this cafe is also very convenient for a late burger or glass of wine. The food isn't perfect but it is better than walking all over Markham late at night.
