Bidra med feedbackFirst time here and first experience with fresh oysters, Cici our waitress was very helpful with recommendations! Costal vines white wine I enjoyed. Tried 3 types of oysters (east coast are less fishy), crab cakes which were delicious but only 2 for almost 20$. Grilled calamari good. The seafood paella was AMAZING our favourite felt like we were back in Spain. Whole Lobster special was alright a little chewy in some parts would have preferred the potato salad not on that leaf but in a bowl of some sort and if the lobster could have been cut in half for you along with the guts cleaned out would have been better. We also got a side of snow crab legs which were good. I would have looked a more seasoned butter sauce available either or salt or some garlic in it as it was plain. Thats my preference.Note: bathrooms are wayyy to dark please turn up the lights just a little. ?Crème brûlée was yummy, Tiramisu so-so.We had a hefty bill but ordered plenty as it was a special occasion and wanted to try different things.Overall enjoyed and would come back to try more!
Food mediocre. Terrible service. Waitress in a rush. Main dish arrived before we finished our appetizers so the food became cold. The waitress explained that it was because the restaurant was not busy at the time so the food came out fast ! The bowl for the mussel shells was dirty and looked used. I couldn't wait to get out of there as I didn't feel relaxed throughout the dinner. Stay away.
The Clam Chowder was a great starter, with plenty of assorted seafood and a small size providing a generous portion. The oysters themselves were fresh, but a bit too briny for my taste, and there were only three options for garnish: marinara (which was very thick), horseradish, and red wine vinegar. We also shared a lobster roll, which was too watery and had more mayo than lobster. The service was just average. Overall, I think there are better options available for the price, but we were glad to give Diana's a chance.
The food at this place is incredibly fresh; you can tell just by biting into the shrimp in the pilaf or swallowing an oyster. It offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it for gatherings with friends/family or romantic dates. The staff speak multiple languages and the environment is very welcoming. (Highly recommendation: Seafood Pilaf)
Amazing experience at Dianas for my birthday. The oyster selection and variety were very good. It was fresh and delicious, I'm partial to the large creamy ones! Staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drink options. They had a lobster special for $35 bucks, which we gladly had (potato salad side, random but tasty) plus an assortment of oysters and wine pairings. Im already looking into going back there when i come visit toronto again. I cannot recommend this place enough.
