Cakes By Tanya - Markham

A neighbour of mine recommended this place, so I thought I’d give it a try. I've been to this shop once and the first thing she gave me was attitude. Maybe this is just how she is, but I'm sure her baked good are delicious; however, spend your money supporting another place who actually appreciates your business (and whose products are probably equally delicious).

How is this bakery not 5 stars? I am extremely impressed with Tanya's work. I had requested 3 custom mini cakes...they were gorgeous, and delicious! This is my second time ordering with Tanya, and I highly recommend. She is the sweetest, and full of energy. Great customer service... Tanya spent lots of time speaking with me to ensure everything was perfect. You MUST try the key lime coconut flavour.I would suggest going into the bakery for inquiries. Tanya is always busy, and difficult for her to answer emails or the phone.

Cookies and cakepops are divine, so beautiful as well. Cute environment in the store as well.

This place has the best sweets and snacks. My friends and I come here all the time to get delicious molasses cookies!

I ordered here based on the positive reviews. The owner is not at all customer friendly, cake was no where near even ok. No clarity on the pick up time, even the basic cake didn’t taste good. Won’t recommend.
