Napoli's Italian - Marion

The smell...we almost left right after we got seated because the whole place smelled of really funky cheese. Really strongly. It was horribly off putting.Should have gone with our gut.While the service was fantastic our server was on top of everything, things came out quickly the food was just not good at all.Nothing quite matched the description or what you expect from fairly common, well known dishes. All 3 of us said that this was an absolute never again for us.

Had a group of 15 for a birthday party . Service was great and food as always excellent. Highly recommended for italian restaurants in Cedar Rapids. Our families favorite.

In a strip mall this is definitely a hidden gem. Service was spectacular, the food was absolutely on point and the atmosphere was unforseen. This feels like a regular strip mall restaurant as you walk up but once you enter it takes uou away from the strip mall world.The bread and oil dip was excellent. My wife ordered the clams and I ordered the Chicken Parmigiano. Both meals arrived hot and delicious.For dessert my wife had the Lemoncello cake and I ordered the Italian Cream Cake. Both outstanding and a large piece. I did prefer the Lemoncello but I am told the teramisu is delicious also.Only complaint was I ordered a Ceaser salad and it was a tossed salad with a cup a ceasar dressing instead of a properly prepared ceaser where the dressing and lettuce are pre mixed. I am NOT complaint as this is the only thing I could come up with as a negative. Side note the dressing was the BEST!

Very tasty and great service. Very good coffee too... Love the coffee and salads. Took friends from out of town-loved it!

Service and atmosphere was great, food needs some work.
