Food okay BUT staff constantly hassling passers by to come to eat. Beleaguered by flies whist eating outside. Overcharged for beer luckily I spotted it, and then told cash only payment. We just had enough cash, but have paid for everything else by card. The staff said ‘it’s just for today’ but from reading other reviews it clearly wasn’t just today. Plenty of other much nicer places to eat.

That was my 5th trip to beloved portugal where I finally bought a property. It was not a regular hour to have a meal about 5.45 p.m. Young and smiling staff, speaking several (English, French at least) languages was inviting to take a seat. Everything was looking very promising. But at the end, behind these smiles, there was only the will to get as much money as possible from my pocket by offering a dish that was not in the menu we wanted to order 1 dish to share and the server confirmed that the dish was big enough for 2. Finally we have received a dish that we were not promised to have. I asked for the take out of what was remaining, because it was not possible to eat all, but it was not what we came for and we have been by bycicycles. Another inconvenience the cards are not accepted. But I was awared of it by the staff.
