Bidra med feedbackThe food here is okay. Nothing special, but not bad. It is a typical Japanese restaurant. The fish was fresh and the yaki soba was actually pretty good. The ambience is dark and relaxing. My complaint is one of the servers or manager has a bad attitude. She has her hair in a ponytail and just seems mad the whole time. The other server who is chinese with short hair was great! Overall I might come back, but there are better sushi places near where I live.
9/11/22 Just when I was excited to think that great hibachi was nearby. Steak and scallops were over cooked ?like chewy rubber?. I told my waitress to give them and opportunity to fix it AND they did nothing! All staff sitting behind counter. When I asked for it to be removed from my ticket. She indicated the manager said I ate half of it so no. I indicated my plate was full and requested for her to bring the plate back out. She said she threw it away. I asked to speak to a manager because I am not paying for food I didn?t eat. She indicated that there was nothing she could do and the manager doesn?t speak English. Poor customer service and I guess they are ok with losing customers. 9/12/22 I paid cash for the food and drinks that we ate. The manager never came to my table so I am unable to tell you exactly who the manager is. Although I did not think the poor customer service was humorous, I took a picture of my ticket and cash on table so that they could not say I did not pay for my food. There was 4 people behind the counter/sushi bar. Even if there was a language barrier, I asked to speak to a manager or someone who spoke English to resolve the issue. I offered to leave my name and number to be contacted by a manger. I was calm and was never rude. She indicated there was nothing she could do. Unfortunately, I will not be back.
I LOVE finding good sushi! I am pregnant so cannot eat fish. Even though I ordered through Doordash, they listened to all of my special instructions and requests for fish free rolls. Fresh rice and ingredients. Would definitely recommend. Quality did not suffer even after 30 minute delivery ????
They gave me the shell on the crab which was not edible. It was crunchy and it was like gnawing on jerky. I called to complain because I ordered it to go and tried to eat it when I got home. The manager was very rude and would not refund me or give me a credit. I ordered almost $50 worth of sushi and this one roll was not edible. She told me she would not refund me or credit me. That she wanted me to bring the roll to her and she would make me another. I do not want another one, nor do I want to drive back there. I want a refund. I have been ordering from here for years and have never had a problem, but to see this is how they treat customers is very displeasing. I will not eat here again and I suggest you don?t either. If the owner reads this, please contact me so this can be resolved. I have been ordering from here for 4 years, I have screenshots of all the Uber eats I have from here and you can look up all my previous orders from my phone number when I called in specifically. It does not make sense that a company would not credit me 1 roll, and would risk losing all future money from me. They would make a lot more money from me if this was handled better.
STICK WITH SUSHI. Kumo was a delightful little find. Service was attentive and efficient. We did wait a bit for the order but special Sushi orders take time and they weren?t slower than average. With two kids in the party, we ordered American ?sushi? and some real sushi. I was pleasantly surprised when my 8 yr old finished the Nigiri so rapidly I couldn?t even take a picture. The fish was fresh- we could tell from the taste and smell. As other reviewers have mentioned, the miso is power-based and ordinary, and the vegetarian fried rice was mediocre too. If you go, order sushi. I did not try a lot of the extensive menu but the sushi I can endorse with confidence.
