Arrived at 5pm and hadn't booked a table. We were greated by a very friendly girl that had us talk to the chef which was arrogant and not very helping or service minded. We weren't able to get a table and are not interested in going back. Food is likely great tho, but expensive. We also heard the chef ask a couple of tired cyclists if they were hungry, just to tell them they could have a table and then close the door in their face.
Worst customer treatment that I have experienced. We were basically told that we were not allowed to be in the venue by the arrogant chef after their very ambiguous wording basically stated that no bookings were accepted before 20.00. I would recommend a lesson in Swedish wording in order to avoid other customers to have to experience the same treatment. We were ok with accepting the mix up, however rude treatment is not something I have experienced in a good restaurant when the matter at hand is so simple.
I am normally not very picky with restaurant and staff treatment of customers but tivedens mat had the worst attitude I have ever experienced (have eaten at most of the better eateries in sweden). Unfortunately I will not support a restaurant with such arrogant staff and will definitely not recommend them to anyone else.
Had a great meal in a spectacular outdoor location with friendly service, only a bit too expensive.
