I absolutely loved this place! My partner and I were a bit nervous going to the cake club because we didn't know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received. It was a unique experience and Gary was extremely friendly. As someone with celiac disease, it was fantastic to be able to order food that was completely gluten-free. The vegan option was delicious and came with a variety of vegetables. We were impressed by the generous portions and tasty food. Thank you, Gary, for a great dining experience!

The restaurant offers two delicious vegan cake options, overshadowing the meat options. However, I was disappointed with my meal. I chose the curry based on another review, and while the filling was enjoyable, the pastry was rock-hard. The presentation of the dish was good, with beautiful vegetables, but the wedges had a mixed texture - some were soft and spongy while others were hard and overcooked. The restaurant's decor has been described as eccentric on other review sites, but I found it to be uncharming - resembling a small dining room with mismatched furniture. Overall, I left feeling unsatisfied with my dining experience.

I discovered this small restaurant on Happy Cow and was pleasantly surprised by the unique and delicious food it offered. The cakes were especially amazing, even during the summer season. Gary was an excellent host and it was clear that he put a lot of effort into creating options for vegans and those with celiac disease. Don't miss out on dessert, their ice cream is outstanding.

We enjoyed the Kashmiri Piee, which came with delicious potatoes, beautiful fresh vege and gravy. It was a generous portion. There was a second vegan cake and the puddings were all vegan (Choc and banana ice cream Hafer Sorbet when I visited). Plant milk is available for tea coffee. It is a quirky small café and the owner is really friendly and gives us tips for our stay in Margate.
