Robert's Place - MARGATE CITY

Just a nice late lunch stop! my only problem is that we had to wait a lot and we didn?t expect that. but when places are packed that?s bound to happen. besides that when we got seated the waiter was nice and took our orders quickly. the food came fast and was so good. everyone enjoyed it. nice place would come back!

Interesting...this was a 1st visit for us and overall it was a nice experience. We had pub food which was good. Our drinks (a beer and a glass of wine were appropriately priced and there were plenty of TVs to watch a game. The coolest thing about Robert 's Place was the fact that it is a spot to go to for the locals. It felt like everyone knew each other which speaks highly for Robert 's Place...if Your in Margate You have to stop by...:

Ordered the crab and the crabs were cold as if they have been left in the fridge for hours. additionally, the burgers were 12 dollars for plain meat on buns that were mediocre at the very best. pattys were the size of my pp(it is very small btw). would not recommend to my worst enemy.also they failed to mention it was cash only until we were paying.

Best bar at the shore. No comparison. I?ve been coming here since I was old enough to drink, and this beauty just gets better with age! Just remember, cash only.

We were very disappointed with our experience. My husband has been telling me for months now, when you 're ready to have the best wings ever, we will go there in reference to Robert 's. He also told me that it 's not a fancy place, they basically just bring the wings out on a plastic cafeteria tray. I actually looked forward to this very much but when we finally went in... it kind of sucked. Honestly the server was so nice in the beginning... then we waited and what came out was very disappointing. For $12 dollars you 'd expect more than 6 or 7 wings and 5 celery sticks. They never checked on us while we ate, forgot to give us ranch as we requested and honestly the wings were pretty mediocre in my opinion. If you 've ever had the giant bag of frozen Buffalo Wings from Sam 's Club you 're honestly better off with those. What a shame but, I 'd be willing to try them again as their ribs did look good but seems a regulars dive and I guess AC locals kind of stick out to Margaters... oh well what can you do? Go to Sam 's instead I guess?
