Lamberti's Sunset - MARGATE CITY

Nice view... that's what happened. The drink my friend had ordered had to be sent back, it was terrible. It was a happy hour and the server had mentioned some appetizer specialties. We had ordered the fried tomatoes, with some lobster and supposedly a champagne sauce. 3 fried tomatoes, barely Lobster or Sauce came out. When we got our check, this appetizer was $22,95, which was ridiculous. We complained to the server and said we should have said that beforehand....They mentioned the manager who took $5.00 out of the bill. Unfortunately, we're not going back here. Gloria S.

Whenever we are in Margate, we will visit. The view from the deck is always spectacular. Service was wonderful and the food was fresh and made to order.

The worst experience! A star is nice! Terrible service, overpriced food that was less than sufficient! My daughters crab cocktail had a live bug in it. The waiter said it flew out of the deck that was a lie. She took the salad and it was under it! We ordered oysters who came out in a water bath. No ice and warm. This place must go and be replaced by a decent restaurant. They're shy on the bay.

Had the worst experience here. Waited much longer than we were told. Once sat, the waitress didn?t show up after about 10 minutes so we asked around to see who our waitress was. We then waited forever for our food. Our kids were starving. They didn?t bring bread until about 2 minutes before our meal arrived. We saw the runner for our food more than we saw our waitress. We were never asked if we wanted any more drinks or if we needed anything. Big disappointment! Go elsewhere!!
