Sushi Masters - Margaret River

This restaurant offers excellent value for the price. We ordered two chicken Katsu bento boxes and a combination sushi tray, and everything was delicious. It may not be very innovative or unique, but the basic Japanese food here is top-notch and we were very pleased with it. It's impressive that everything is managed by just one person.

I don't understand why some people would give this place a one-star rating. The chef is amazing and consistently serves up delicious food at a fast pace. I have never had any complaints about the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the sushi is absolutely phenomenal. I give this place five stars and encourage the chef to continue doing excellent work and not to pay attention to negative reviews.

The food at this restaurant was quite tasty and reasonably priced compared to other places in Margaret River. The service was also fast. We ordered Wanton Noodles and Fried Combination Noodles, which were delicious.

The sushi is great, but it’s about $12 per basic sushi roll. I initially ordered 4 sushi rolls to take away and just about died when they said it would be almost $50… the sushi in the pic was $25 (no drinks or extra sauce, etc). Its just 2 sushi rolls cut into 8, thin pieces. Tasted great but insanely overpriced.

Herself doesn't like sushi, so occasionally we go our separate ways for a lunchtime snack so that I can indulge. I confess to being an enthusiast for sushi, though I don't claim expertise my taste buds tell me when I'm satisfied. In this case, the sushi rolls I had lacked flavour and left me feeling somewhat disappointed.
