Squid Lips - Margaret River

We decided to watch the sunset at the beach and have a picnic. The majority of our group voted for this restaurant, and we were pleased with the friendly and efficient service. Our orders were taken promptly and our food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered lemon pepper grilled mackerel, Cajun grilled mackerel, salt and pepper shrimp, chili cheese fries, and a large portion of chips. We enjoyed our meal on the beach while it was still warm. The grilled fish was well-cooked but could have used more seasoning. The salt and pepper shrimp were delicious. Overall, it was a good choice for a casual meal. The chips were a bit soggy by the time we got to them.

We ordered barramundi, kartoffelscallops, salt pepper with chips. the barramundi tasted wrong was hard. the squid was hard, barely edible, as for the chips they were soggy, I must admit that the potsto scallops were in order. we were very dismayed. eating fish chips in Australians all over the world, this place was terrible that we were very disregarded.

Give him a break. my experience was probably just my experience. It was okay, but not great. dinge, they were brilliant. service. owner was happy and tried to help. taste. great taste. Maybe not what I really wanted. options. even the squid had different coating options and there was a full board of choice. After writing all this, I have to go it another .... in one night when fish and chips are what I feel anyway!

We visited in mid-December 2021, the batter on the fish was crispy and the chips were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. I was surprised! Would definitely come back here on our next visit to Margs. Staff were friendly and order was...ready in good time.
