Grill Courtepaille - Mareuil-lès-Meaux

Service impeccable. We felt very well treated and Good food. Worth to go to! We were six, including 2 children.

Arrived at this restaurant about 7pm on a Sunday night and the ambience was good as was the cleanliness. There seemed to be one poor lady trying to serve drinks, cook on the grill open grill in restaurant eating area) and serve the tables. It was probably ten minutes before our drinks order was taken and suddenly the original server left and four new members of staff arrived. Some ten minutes later the grandchildren ordered a jacket potato with cheese and the other a sausage and chips off the child’s set meal. Son in law ordered a mixed grill and my daughter and myself wanted the set menu with a 6 ounce rump steak. Bearing in mind this is a grill they had no rump steaks. We liked the set menu starters and sweets so asked if we could stay on the set menu and we were happy to pay extra for a different steak which they had. Told no can’t move off the set menu which in my mind is plainly stupid when it is their fault they hadn’t ordered enough rump or perhaps been busy that weekend. I ordered a different steak and a separate starter in the end. I asked for medium rare it was well done and cindered at the edges but as the kids had finished see later comment) I decided not to send it back. Service was polite but very very slow. Meals were delivered at varying times so the kids finished a long time before the rest of us. We had two beers each 4) one glass of wine three cokes and an orangina and the bill for 5 was £120. I go on about perceived value for money and thus just wasn’t good value. Left disappointed and wouldn’t recommend or go back.

Want to choke? Want to get poisoned? Then this place will do it at a price! I visited here with my wife and two children. We should have known we were not going to have a nice experience because as we were seated we heard a French chap complaining very loudly. Anyhow, we stayed. Firstly, no French beer. When the drinks arrived eventually they were wrong. Main courses arrived. I ordered sausage. It was minging. Rancid, cold. I ate the chips. My daughter let out a cry of astonishment she had found what looked like a toothpaste cap or maybe the top off a tube of puree? in her burger. We called the waitress who looked aghast and whisked the plate away. Then....nothing! She was sat there with no food. We eventually called the manager who apologised and said that she could have anything she liked off the menu at no charge and that our desserts would be free. She ordered. We waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually her second choice meal appeared. Cold. She said she didnt want to eat here any more and I don't blame her it was a fiasco. But the desserts were free....so we ordered. There were three cheese choices. Nope, the cheese wasn't available in France?? . So we ordered ice cream. And waited and waited and waited. By this time we just wanted out so I asked for the bill. Guess what! Both my daughter's mains were on, the ice creams were on and two extra drinks were on. We decided to leave. Without paying.We walked out and as I passed the manager I tore up the bill and put it in his hand. If ever a place could achieve a minus number of stars then this is it. It's appalling!

Seul ou en couple ce restaurant est agréable car l'accueil est sympa et pro.On mange correctement.La salle est grande et aérée.Par contre la terrasse bien ensoleillée et trop bruyante car la route passe en surplomb et aucune d'élimination n'est possible pour atténuer le bruit des véhicules qui circulent.On y revient quand même pour le moment agréable.

C'est trop cher pour ce qu'il propose.Le service est nickel la terasse agreable acec le beau temps mais bon cela ne fais pas tout.
