Bidra med feedbackThai Farm Kitchen has closed their Orlando, Florida location. This is a shame as they definitely offered a quality product in a cool atmosphere. Their drunken noodles were definitely solid. There was no explanation offered, so it could be any reason. Either way, Thai Farm Kitchen will be missed.
We love Thai food and have been following Thai Farm Kitchen Brooklyn from afar. When I heard that there will be one opening in Orlando I was elated. Waited for the best special occasion (my birthday) for a visit. It is downtown, so parking can be tricky, grateful there is a small parking lot behind the restaurant but parking spaces are limited. We were grateful it was both an early dinner for us and that it was raining so there were available spaces. I do wish there was a back entrance, walking to the front of the restaurant in the rain made the walk seem longer. The front of the restaurant is beautiful. The décor, the red trimming and hanging plants make this outdoor dining area delightful. Once inside, bar area to the left and hostess table to right. Bar area is big with a wide selection of wines and liquor. There are high top tables, booths and tables, lots of windows make it a bright room. We were greeted and sat immediately. Our hostess was also our server, which, I guess, is due to short handed on staff. Our drink and app order was taken, lychee martini, combo platter that includes chicken satay, crab rangoon, shrimp rolls, chicken dumplings and salted wings. The lychee martini is tassstttttyyyy, cool and refreshing. The apps are good, the shrimp roll and the chicken satay were my favorites, I wish they were served hotter, they were at best, lukewarm. The salted chicken wings really lacked flavor. Our entrees: Pad Thai and chicken fried rice. Both excellent dishes, the chicken fried rice being our favorite, it was bought out steaming hot and delicious. The Pad Thai lacked some flavor, next time I will make sure to ask for more spiciness. Overall, we experienced good food and good service, in a pretty setting.
Delicious, fresh, authentic Thai food! Thai Farm Kitchen has a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere. The staff is friendly and efficient and gives great recommendations. The food is amazing! I chose a delightful butterfly lemonade cocktail and steamed edamame with flaky salt to start. My entree green curry with shrimp was full of bright, crisp flavors and fresh veggies. The owner stopped by our table to thank us for coming and told us a little about their history his wife is the talented chef. Overall a wonderful experience and I will return with friends and family. My new favorite place!
The moment you come in, the ambiance of this place is beautiful! We are immediately greeted and was seated.Delicious Thai food would be an understatement. This place is amazing! A true gem to our ever growing Orlando Food Scene!Jess the owner even came to our table and gave us an amazing Thai Hospitality. We ordered, Drunken Noodles,Panang, Yellow Curry, Pineapple Fried Rice, we got a set of appetizers,Tom Yum and our favorite is Mango Sticky Rice! We are also the first to try the Lamb with their special Thai Sauce.Food servings can definitely be shared. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Thai food experience!
Good food, great service, friendly staff. Lots of veggie and other options. Can be a on a spicier side compared to other thai places but that added more zing. Sumptuous portions but not too big. Good place for friends and family dining. They have the handheld menu and ordering system, I was hoping even POS would be handheld and brought to the table. Parking can be an issue as most of the parking seems to be street parking.
