Ate at the Rana in the mall in Vicenza. For a quick meal it was filling and fast. Did not have high expectations for mall food but this was good. The selection was nice, the service was fast and the food was freshly prepared in front of you. Price was reasonable. Nice place for a quick meal.

The food is good as well as the selection. We returned to this restaurant after two days to try other dishes finely elaborated by Giovanni Rana, but this time we had a problem with the cook that had a very bad attitude. The pasta was not hot at all and we asked to be heated and he was upset with our request and heated the pasta dumping a lot of olive oil and deliberately overcooked and stared at us with an unfriendly look. While we were eating, he left the place, probably it was the end of his shift and was on the rush. I am certain that Mr.Rana has been dedicating many years to elaborate and continuously improve his dishes that are fabulous, but his business might be put into challenge by bad employees.

The dishes are not bad. Maybe a little too expensive for a first prepack. in any case 3 xk stars is not explained anywhere in what the menu consists of

We took carbonara (according to me with meat from the precotta supermarket) mediocre. and more than you remember the dish name quite good. it spent the right but the carbonara can do better. Good desserts. Bye.
