Belmare - MARCIANA

I've been coming to elba for decades, and I've never had such a great dinner in the most beautiful and expensive places of the island. the chef works very well and proposes creative, ambitious teller who use local and fresh ingredients....Kudos! the weinlist has many local options: not all are excellent, but these are usually very pleasant local wee to combine well with eating, and are very honest too expensive. eating is overall with what they place in much, much more expensive places that I speak about fine eating / a star. of course, they do not get the full fine culinary experience as the ambiente is beautiful (the terrace has a great view of sunset between corsica and capraia), but not luxurious, and service is attentive and care, but not perfect. but for the price they really cannot ask for more. try it yourself!

The love of gourmet kitchen is reflected in every dish. one of the best restaurants on the island. the cook knows what it does. recommended

In the restaurant of this hotel we received our dog well. they have a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view, but since October we ate inside. our tartal from thun and bark was very good (the bark was exceptionally tender and...with perfect presentation. the only slight negative comment I have is on the grilled vegetables that tasted something like coal. perfect and attentive service.

Belmare is a great family hotel with nice restaurant. They have a brilliant cook, my hat's off to him! We were 4 nights in this hotel and had 4 dinners and 1 lunch here. Everything was delicious and interesting. The restaurant is open for non-hotel...guests too. The price of menu is reasonable and there is a beautiful view of Corsica from the terrace!
