Campanellu - MARCELLINA

I've been in this place for lunch, after having chosen for book reviews of other diners.The location is a little tight on the road, but has a convenient parking.Quite a large room and with a sufficient service staff, very courteous and helpful.The assigned table was not the best, but there were plenty of people. Excellent first courses, under the banner of Roman tradition and excellent quality meat, with very good desserts.The only drawback found is to refer to the cooking of pasta not properly cooked to the right point. Some cooking more minutes and it would have been perfect.However really all very good. The owner's gesture was very great at wanting to return part of the bill to the fact that the pasta was undercooked. I appreciate the gesture, although refusing the restitution of money. Great owner and excellent restaurant. I will be back and invite you to go for those who do not know him.

My husband and I had an amazing dinner at this warm and friendly restaurant. We had eaten in Rome but did not find authentic and gourmet-like food until we ate at Campanellu! It was the best meal of our entire 2 week stay in Italy! The homemade pasta and clams, calamari, steak, and never-ending choices of side dishes was impressive. The service was impeccable! We were a group of eight and ate as if we were at a wedding. The artichoke dish was to die for!! The owner was warm and inviting and the highlight were the desserts by Juri!! When I return to Rome I will take the 45 min drive to this little piece of heaven!! Grazie mille Campanellu!!

In my opinion in the area is the only restaurant worthy of note, it is always a confirmation, I took the takeaway menu for Christmas Eve, it was all cooked to perfection, congratulations to all the staff, all delicious prepared with care and attention. the restaurant deserves stars, can cook everything, from meat to fish and to finish is delicious also pizza, very good. I'd definitely recommend it.
