Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant is part of the hotel, but doesn’t feel like a hotel restaurant at all. Outside seating in a very pleasant atmosphere, good food and a very welcoming staff
The cuisine and chef at the Hotel Dammühle in Marburg's rural outskirts, are among the best in the area, if your lusting for traditional German dishes, but looking for such ones presented with a twist. Whether taking business guests there or enjoying the noon abbreviated...menu for lunch with the family: Dammühle's kitchen will please your tastebuds with a great selection of meals all freshly cooked and presented with loving care. The quality has been kept and even exceeded over a course of frequent visits. A solid recommendation imho.
A social evening was held there as part of a conference. In advance I asked by mail if there was also a vegan offer, to which the answer came that it was no problem and the colleagues on site knew about it. In fact, however,...no one really knew on site and the vegan offer was limited to an already vegan soup for all and the side dishes of the fish and meat buffet: White rice and overcooked pasta with tomato sauce mind you for a participation fee of 60 €, as for everyone else. Upon request, we at least received a bowl of hummus (this one was very good, after all), which the chef pinched off extra and somewhat reluctantly from the next day 's breakfast buffet. For customers who have already paid in advance, one seems to have nothing left here. Please be honest next time beforehand and say that you have nothing left for vegan customers, then we are very happy to spare this overpriced disappointment.
This review is for the Kletterwald Marburg, next to the hotel establishment.Took the nephews and spent a good half day trying out the ropes courses at Kletterwald. The park opened about 3 years ago and have been receiving constant visitors esp. on the weekends. There are varying level of activities for all ages from young kids to adults with increasing levels of difficulties. Warning, if you are afraid of heights, these activities are not for you.
We actually stayed here for four nights with our three Children on a recent visit to Marburg. We had the Heinrich Suite which was more than spacious with three bedrooms. The restaurant on-site is simply excellent. No need to eat anywhere else! But you do need to book, as very popular. The playground was an added bonus, and our children loved the flying fox. Breakfast was very good. Would highly recommend as both accommodation and as a restaurant.
