A very pleasant and higher priced restaurant , nicely furnished inside and out. You get what you pay for though, no complaints here. The restaurant is near Marburg castle directly on the hill allowing a beautiful view over Marburg from the outside seating area, which is also equipped with sun/rain umbrellas to sit under and heating for colder evenings. Food is excellent. We were treated with platters of mixed warm and cold starters, which in itself could have been a meal. This was followed by fish, schnitzel and steak and potatoes as well as vegetable on the side. As desert we were treated with a morsel of chocolate lava cake and vanilla ice cream. This was a custom order by the friend who invited us, though. Despite visiting on a Tuesday, all places were filled, reservation is advised. A very nice evening worthy of the occasion.
