Buonamico - Marbella

El hotel es precioso, el personal es muy educado y siempre te saluda. Lo mejor es el desayuno, cuentas con muchísimas opciones y toda la comida es deliciosa. Los elevadores pueden ser un poco frustrantes en ciertos horarios ya que están ocupados o se detienen en cada piso por lo que debes esperar un rato pero en general tuvimos una estadía maravillosa, sin duda regresaría.

Stayed at Amare Marbella for the first time and it is a GORGEOUS hotel. Parking at the side of hotel for patrons and public, very easy to access. This hotel is ideally situated on the beach and a 10 minute walk into Marbella old town. On entering the hotel it is modern bright and smells amazing with nice music. The male Receptionist was training but he was very helpful despite he forgot to tell me How to access the lifts (there are 2 different sets of lifts 1 for access to parking and spa and another for the rooms roof top bar etc. A spa circuit was included in my booking where I spent an hour using the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool before going for a 50minute Lomi Lomi massage. The spa is wonderful and the lady I believe who is the manager really runs the place well. Having had Lomi Lomi massages in the past I was really excited for this treatment however I have to say this WAS NOT a lomi massage it was simply just a standard relaxing massage. The girl was nice but it wasn’t what I booked in for. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever been in and it was lovely and clean (albeit hard to find initially). The breakfast was again outstanding really with something for everyone from champagne, fresh fruit juices, typical continental breakfast, various hot items, waffles, pancakes, omelette station where you pick your ingredients and it’s made to order, various cereals, jams, honey, agave, dried fruits, nuts, fresh fruits, gluten free bread, cakes, sugar free you name it they got it. My room was “Make it Happen”, it’s lovely big room with twin beds pushed together which made for a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom was interesting with a partition and small sliding frosted door for the toilet and bidet, but the actually sink and shower Area being open. There was a small screen you could pull across the shower from The room to provide some privacy if needed. There was a nice closet with a light inside where I found hairdryer iron and safe and a spare duvet in case of being cold. The air con blew hot and cold and the tv was a good size. There is a really cool feature in the room where you can connect your phone via Bluetooth and play music where there is a speaker above the bed and one in the bathroom which I found a really nice touch. A very comfortable chaise lounge and table make for an excellent relaxing area if you don’t want to sit in bed. There was a minibar in the room, which personally I felt was over the top it was stacked full and the shelves were also filled with snacks but nowhere was a menu or price (you have to scan QR code). I prefer to use the fridge for my own personal drinks that I buy from the much cheaper supermarket directly outside the hotel. The balcony was nice and big with fantastic views and comfortable seating HOWEVER, they are not private half the balcony is open to your neighbours either side so unless you have your table close to the door of the room, your neighbours will see everything you do and of course hear your conversations. So for that reason and the overstocked minibar and mediocre massage I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Sadly I had some very noisy neighbours for 2 nights out of my 4 night stay which did dampen my overall experience (not the hotels fault). I would recommend this hotel overall.

We stayed there almost one week to celebrate our anniversary and it’s just such an amazing hotel. It’s more of a small resort. If you can, splurge and get a nice sea view room. We recommend room 804 which is the absolute best room of the hotel. The view is insane, huge balcony. Not a single inconvenience I can think of during our stay. We travel a lot and this is so far the ONLY hotel where we cannot find a single little complaint. It’s not a cheap place, but if you are willing to spend money, it is worth it! The access to the ONE lounge is super practical and worth the money. 100% recommend!!
