Foundation Grounds - Maplewood

The coffee at this restaurant is fantastic and the food is delicious. I just wish there were more vegan pastry options available. Despite that, the pastries they do offer are tasty.

I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse selection and high quality of vegan dishes at this restaurant. The blueberry scone was a bit too moist for my liking, but the other treats I tried were all delicious (I sampled about six in total). I also enjoyed the sweet potato burrito, although I found it to be slightly expensive (I'm on a budget). Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend trying out their vegan options.

The restaurant serves breakfast all day, offering two delicious vegan burritos and vegan sandwiches. They also recently added Oatly milk for their coffee drinks.

I really liked their chocolate chip scone- they seem to have a fair selection every time I’m in.

Foundations Grounds is a wonderful addition to the Maplewood neighborhood in St. Louis, MO. I liked the set up of the place, it was very well decorated, and all of the staff members were very friendly. There were plenty of vegan items to choose from, all made in house, such as the oreo cookie cupcake, some other vegan cupcakes, pumpkin muffin, some other vegan muffins, vegan soups/salads, and some vegan sandwiches. The food I got was good and I will surely be back here during my next visit.
