Iron Hill Brewery - Maple Shade

Great as always, food terrific, staff very nice. Everyone got a free sample of a different beer to try.

Iron Hill Maple Shade is coming back! We we're thrilled to dine in last night to celebrate a small family event. Our server was phenomenal, despite covering the entire bar area. We were thrilled to have the expanded menu back and enjoyed some old favorites. It is a great, local restaurant, to enjoy on any night of the week.

Iron Hill is the best mid-priced restaurant in the neighborhood. The food is very good, I especially enjoy the schnitzel. Wine and cocktail selection is weak, but they’re known for their beer (which they make in house). Perfect when you want someplace nice, but you’re not trying to be pretentious. Sometimes it can get a little loud, but usually noise level is ok.

Let me begin by saying this is usually a good place to eat. However I think I chose wrong tonight. I ordered the stir fry vegetables w chicken . The chicken was an additional cost and was DRY. The rice was over cooked. The veggies were totally hammered by overcooking and drowning them in sauce. I thought I was ordering a crisp healthy dish. The pretzels were good however. My friend ordered the Turkey burger without bacon. It came w bacon. Sawyer was our server and she was terrific. I’d recommend her . She was prompt, courteous and didn’t make me feel rushed.

Great food and great draft beer! Our service by Phil was great.
