The Pantry Restaurant - Maple Ridge

The plan was to meet friends for breakfast. Arriving shortly after 7am on Friday there were signs that no one was at the Pantry: lights off, newspapers at the door, locked doors. I confirmed a few days later that the Pantry is suddenly permanently closed. There is not a sign posted or any notification given.

Promptly greeted and seated. Our party of 5 all enjoyed their breakfast selections which were all described as 'good, OK, or average for $14/15 selections. Service for ordering and throughout the meal was both courteous and friendly. Combined with coffee at $3 per person (seems a bit steep), and coupled with the $15 plates, plan on $20 per head for The Pantry breakfasts.

Wonderful service and the waitresses are top notch and service oriented. Always pleasant and smiling. This owner must have hit the employee goldmine .

I've eaten at several different Pantry locations over the years they were all okay but never anything special. We have been visiting Maple Ridge on a fairly regular basis lately. Having had several meals at the popular restaurant right next door it was time to try somewhere else for breakfast. We walked in and were seated promptly and our server came a short time later. We looked at the menu it had all the usual breakfast selections. I decided on the corned beef hash I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. Shredded potato, onions and a good ratio of corned beef. The eggs were poached as I like them and toast on the side. Our party of 3 all enjoyed there meals the portions were good and the food well prepared. Our server was pleasant and efficient. I think this will be our new breakfast stop when we visit my wife's mom.

A recent get together with 12 girlfriends at the Pantry in Maple Ridge. Not our first time here. Owner very accommodating to us, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Food delicious, hot and good service even with a large group.Prices are very good and as seniors we always get a good discount. The place is always busy in the mornings for breakfast through lunch.
