After being enticed in by the great advertisement of their food and drinks (great job marketing team), it soon became apparent that was the only thing going for this place. The menus don’t explain any of the contents of the food which would only be a minor grumble, but the food itself was as useful as a chocolate teapot to even satisfy my hunger. After ordering and then being told to sit down and the food will be served to me at my table, I was happy to wait a few minutes. I ordered a cheese and ham toastie with a hot chocolate. Simple and effective. Despite this pretty straightforward order, I found myself being shouted at in Spanish for asking where my food was, after a wait that seemed long enough for me to bake my own loaf of bread for the sandwich. I’m easy to forgive though, I’m happy to wait for a great breakfast toastie, but what arrived was half cooked, one sided, uninspiring and all round pretty ****. When I asked for my drink, I was simply at the end of a torrent of words. It became quiet apparent I wasn’t going to get my drink that I had paid for. I walked away from the argument, simply to write this review. Cafe Pan, I know nothing of the food and beverage industry, apart from one thing. You’re sh1te.
