Bidra med feedbackExcellent food and a perfect place to come with a family with young children. The food is of exceptional quality. They have a very large terras on the south, where also food is served. In nice place to spent quality time. Enjoy!!
Went here in a group of 4 plus two children, march 2016. We ordered the set menu/menu del dia, I had spag bol to start and 'codillo ' lamb). Spag bol nothing special, it looked like it had been prepared by a teenager but edible. Codillo a bit dry and lacking in flavour but on the whole, perfectly acceptable. Generous portion. Same goes for the 'fabada '. The soup was a generous portion but was the sort of thing you can make at home, utterly lacking in ingredients and was mediocre. The flan for dessert was good. However, two of our party ordered some dish which was basically gammon, egg and potatoes smothered in a crappy tomato sauce. This was utterly inedible I know because I tried some). The sauce tasted as if it were from a supermarket packet and the gammon was tough as the sole of a shoe. The cheesecake dessert was clearly off. It looked and tasted disgusting, and we sent it back after one mouthful. To cap it all, the waiter tried to argue the toss and said it was 'a matter of taste '. On that note, service in general was dreadful, we had to repeat requests for extra spoons/plates,etc. and drinks that never arrived. It was not even busy outside where we were sitting, this was just an utter lack of professionalism. Overall, for the price of about 25€ a head it was not good value for money. A pity, as the location is great quiet, safe for kids) and it would not take much to improve. We won 't be returning, that is for sure.
Nice setting, dated decor. After a quarter hour waiting for a waiter, we ran away as fast as our legs would take us . The welcome was hostile. The manager showed us with a finger a distant table. The restaurant was half empty. After 15 ', no one had come . We studied the faces of other diners. Nobody seemed happy. Plenty of time to study the menu. Routine and overpriced dishes showed lack of interest and professionalism. This place needs an urgent help of a local Gordon Ramsey.
Went there for a family birthday meal. Found the staff helpful and friendly. The location is lovely. The food is probably a bit over priced and inconsistent. Some excellent courses, others were underwhelming. However on the whole really enjoyed some good traditional Spanish food. The suckling pig in particular was nice and juicy. Was between a 3-4 rating giving it 4 to make up for some of the shockers below
