Fawn Grove - Mantachie

I have been frequenting this restaurant for the past three weeks, and it has quickly become my favorite spot for catfish. The catfish here is without a doubt the best I have ever tasted. The service is friendly, the food is exceptional, and the prices are more than fair. The catfish I ordered consisted of two large fillets that completely filled my plate. It was fresh and perfectly cooked, exactly how southern fried catfish should be. The hush puppies that accompanied the meal were delicious, with a unique flavor that set them apart from other bland options at other restaurants. Despite being a big eater, I couldn't finish my plate. Although it is only available for takeout, everything is freshly cooked so the food was still warm by the time I got home. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant!

The hush puppies served to other diners were also excellent (I'm not sure what ingredients they use, but they have more flavor than those from other restaurants). I couldn't even finish my meal, and I am a pretty big guy. The food was freshly cooked, so it was still warm when I got home. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant!
