Qq Buffet - Mansfield

My husband and I stopped in Mansfield on our way to Buffalo NY, hotel front desk highly recommended this place for dinner. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were met with unfriendly glares mostly from other customers. But that seems to be a thing everywhere we went in Mansfield, unfortunately. We were hungry and curious about the food, so we were seated and decided to try it out anyways. We ordered the brown sugar bubble tea, which tasted like watery diluted sugar milk with no tea flavor at all. The Boba was obviously stale. We tried 2 plates full of food each, each plate with different items. Everything deep fried (eggroll, dumplings, chicken, and even some of the honey chicken) had a fishy aftertaste and was basically inedible because it was so disgusting. The pepper steak and hot and sour soup were oversaturated with black pepper and lacking any flavor. The labels on some of the food items were wrong. The desserts were placed on plates right next to open plates of seafood. The ice cream machine was leaking water, which they gathered in an open bucket. Even the glasses of tap water tasted absolutely disgusting and off. As a person of color coming from DC, maybe I 'm spoiled with exquisite culinary experiences. But I wouldn 't feed this food to a dog, much less a human. I hope this review helps people to avoid wasting time and money here. Seems like other people who leave 5 star reviews just don 't know anything better, very sad.
