Bidra med feedbackAwesome BBQ the people were friendly and ingenious the food was even better brisket was perfect taste and juicy and the BBQ meatballs were also awesome. And her sauce was so good that we had to go home. I will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu. Best BBQ in the city
My friend and I live in Wyoming, but a few weeks ago visited Manitou Springs for Summit (a Christian world view course also 5 stars; and ate here. I just remembered I wanted to post a review. I pulled pigs and ribs. It was some of the best food I had for a long time. The baked beans were also great. I'm glad to go back next time when we're in town and we hope they have the sauce that was amazing until then filled! I have no idea where the two star ratings here came from the finding that it must have been friends and family leaving positive reviews, but I can assure you, my friend and I have traveled well from the city dwellers who have never met the owners until the day we have eaten here, and we absolutely loved it. I think it's quite likely that the review came from a competitor. These are very nice people who served wonderful food at a reasonable price. Thank you.
Large small bbq are located near hotels from downtown. The owner is super friendly owner and the Brisket sandwiches and beans were delicious. Sandwiches are worth about $9, but full of meat and the price. Wish we had time to go back to try more menu items!
Had a great experience w/ Tina their crew! good food, nice conversation, cool set-up. we ordered pulled pork, brisket, loaded potato salad (potato salad w/ load baked potato fixines mixed), and beans. I spoke to the crew about the area they have a lot of information to share. my husband, kid, dog played around in the dining area while pouring at Pike's Peak. they had picnic tables, a stage, dog toy water, and some cute hayballs to play creatures (big photo op). the pulled pork breeze was yummbly w/ little fat. we thought the beans needed a little more what the potato salad needed a touch of salt. Our solution was to eat some of the house sauce to the beans spoons of it w/ the potato salad--then it was all good! (funny thing: later I had potato salad elsewhere, it was too salty. had wanted me again for Peak BBQ). we were betrayed that their shield Burrito had breakfast, but they were not yet for the season. Now we have the perfect excuse to get back our happy faces. Thanks for a great meal...
We chose peak bbq because it was conveniently across from our hotel. I had the pulled pork and sausage plate, portions were perfect and the sauce was sweet and smoky. Highly recommended
