Bidra med feedbackThe Yulei restaurant at Okada Manila is simply elegant, opulent, and extravagant. These words come to mind as soon as you step foot inside this beautiful establishment.
The table setup is unique as well, with two sets of chopsticks provided for each person; one for eating and the other for serving from shared plates. The restaurant also offers a lovely view of Manila Bay outside, as well as private rooms that can accommodate up to 20-30 people. One standout dish was the crispy sweet sour kurobuta pork in three types of vinegar, which perfectly balanced sweetness and sourness despite the mix of vinegars. The stir-fried king prawns in kung pao sauce and the grilled chicken black truffle with Youlin sauce were also favorites, each offering a delectable combination of flavors. The yangzhou fried rice was a hit as well, with a light and flavorful twist on the traditional dish. Desserts like the mango jelly with coconut milk, deep-fried golden sesame balls, and egg tart were all delicious and a perfect way to end the meal. While the prices may be on the higher side, the experience at Yu Lei is well worth it for a special occasion or treat. The service was excellent, with attentive staff ready to assist at a moment's notice. Overall, a memorable dining experience that will not be forgotten.
