Swagman Australian Outback Cafe

Swagman is a great hotel in a great location. I stayed there for the first and last night of my Philippines vacation. You do airport pickups, but note that the supplier uses them to pick you up, has the name of the parent company on the page, 'Oriental Hotels and Resorts'. I was looking for a van with 'Swagman' signwriting and as such could 't find it and ended an incredibly expensive taxi to the hotel. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful and made a number of phone calls for us when we decided to make a last-minute bus booking. The rooms are clean and sufficient. There is a restaurant and a bar downstairs that serves really nice food. I ordered the smaller of the two Burger options and it was huge, I saved half of them for breakfast the following day. Locationally, there are many convenience shops and fast food courses within a few minutes walk, and it is probably less than five minutes walk to the bay and some of the most popular local bars. This hotel is ideal for foreigners who have just arrived in a foreign country and the safety and security of the stay somewhere where they can relax and do not want to be demolished.

The hotel is nice..and been around for at least 20 years. The food is super good and delicious. The hotel staff very friendly and courteous. Outside dining is available and close to Eastern Doctor Hospital and American Embassy. Taxi service no problem and security not an issue of concern. All in all a pleasant stay and highly recommended.

I love this place! I eat there every time that I get a chance when I am in Manila. There are some negative reviews that are unfair as far as slow service... Your food was good right? One of the best steak houses in Manila right? I think that they were busy and you were the last one that came in!
