Bidra med feedbackRosie is back and the sausage rolls were lovely. Coffee wasnt bad either. Good place for the kids to snack and also a small park close by to kick the footy.
Food is average but that is not the real issue. The place is filthy and the woman in charge is crazy. Yelling at people, obnoxious and the girl serving us apologied quietly about her boss! Pity, it,s a great location. Maybe a new manager/owner
Ordered 3 coffees, 2 milkshakes, and 3 muffins to take away. Then waited almost half an hour! For a few drinks and pre-made muffins!!The place was busy but there were several people who came in after us and got served before us. Not cool. And the whole time we had to listen to a very loud and opinionated woman in the kitchen (and for a while on the till), talking about her weekend, and about her alcohol tolerance, and generally complaining about stuff.Coffee was OK, but definitely will not be going back.
Food arrived fairly quickly and was relatively tasty. Despite the dirty cutlery and tables Our drinks arrived way after the meal, which they should arrive before. The waiters are rude and lazy with clear signs of tables needing to be cleared from the seagulls Waiters talking obviously about customers negatively and without care. Coffee was appalling! Over steamed milk and not enough coffee extraction. A smoothie we ordered had milk inside - which the waiter couldn't understand our confusion when we returned it. It should be a real fruit smoothie - especially when you pay $9 for it. they offered to replace it, which meant we had to wait an extra 30mins for it - the cafe was empty and our plates still not cleared.Overall, I won't be returning and I'd be surprised if this place continued on, with other great places to go in the area.
Jeeez, it would be so nice to write a good review ... but no, cannot give credit where it is just not due ... We have been to this café a few times now for breakfast, food ok (but not wonderful) and it is very, very noisy for such a small quaint and cosy place.Went there this morning for a take-away toasted bacon and cheese sandwich, it's not rocket science, the description says it all I thought ... then why in the heck did the woman put BBQ sauce on it ???? I didn't mention sauce, the girl taking the order didn't ask me about sauce, and I HATE, HATE, HATE, BBQ sauce. The entire time whilst waiting for my toasted bacon and cheese sandwich (with unbeknown to me BBQ sauce smothered all over it) I could hear (and see) this very loud woman in the kitchen venting her weekend woes. There were only 3 other people in the café at the time but their faces and body language stated loud and clear that they too were not happy with said loud woman. I did say to the young girl serving me that she might like to let them know that their customers could hear their (pretty one-sided) conversation and perhaps they should consider that, and all I got was "tell me about it".I do hope the owner/s reads, and more importantly, addresses this as I'm sure they cannot afford to lose business over self absorbed staff with no attention to detail with regard to food.
