Great pub. Friendly atmosphere. Very welcoming. The staff service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend the place to friends family. Looking forward to another night out at the Royal Oak

Love the oak been coming here since a kid literally. God pub gets very busy on Friday Saturday so if you like a loud racket then go to the oak .. lol . Beer is a good price . Can’t complain on food to be honest just typical pub grub . Door men on weekends from 7 pm and busy match days they are cool guys but sometimes can have an attitude until they get to know you then they not that bad. Good function room upstairs I been up a few times since it’s been re done and it’s decent sized so if u want a place to hold a party or function then ring Chris at the oak . Pool table is 1.50 a pop and it takes card payment now lol . 1.50 tho wow what’s the world coming to . Toilet door is allways broke got no handles or locks . Don’t blame them for not fixing tho cos some ppl just love to boot them off for no reason iv also gone in some nights and found radiators hanging off walls and holes in doors like why is the need… left cubicle has a hole in the wall toilet from about 7 years ago iv hid things in there and they have been there 2 weeks later….

This pub is amazing. Lovely food. The staff are polite and friendly. The atmosphere is incredible always have some of the locals in there which gives it a good homely feeling. Would recommend to anyone for anything. A nice meal. A little dance at the weekend. Just a brilliant pub

Christmas Dinner at the Oak was amazing this year. We didn't have to wait too long, food was tasty and hot, staff were amazing as ever and we had our table for the whole visit without having to be rushed around. Big thank you to Chris and his team for making us feel so welcome and making our Christmas day very special
