No idea why this place is so high. fish was decidedly cut with soggy batter on the bottom. chips were in order, but muddy peas were an extra and it was quite expensive overall. as one of the best fish and chip restaurants in Britain. I don't think so.

Now when we first came to the chippy, we met with unpleasant employees who were not very helpful and could not even me the prices of the items on the menu that I wanted to order. more 2 customers went to us in about five minutes and rectified food there before the annoying waiter even took our orders. he was useless, he was unpleasant and not very nice to be close, didn't even offer me my drink with my food deal. eating was okay, but I wouldn't rate it over a 5 out of 10. when we got the bill, we were shocked to find that they tried to calculate us for an order of chips that we were not even ordered or given and I was charged £ 1.50 only for engraving on my chips...more
