I've eaten at the Tambaqui de Banda in front of the Teatro Amazonas several times. Today was my first time eating at this location. The tambaqui was excellent as always and the service was friendly and very prompt. The suco de limão was not quite as good and the beans seemed a bit undercooked to me. The atmosphere of this restaurant just cannot compare to the one near the Teatro Amazonas. There were some signs up saying that they are renovating and it will be much nicer soon, but that's not the reason for only 4 stars. The main reason I deducted a star is because it is supposed to have a place for kids to play and it no longer does. That was a disappointment for our 3 year old and the whole reason we opted to come to this location.
