Bidra med feedbackWent here on Saturday around 1PM. A lot nicer place than I thought it would be. Not a typical looking bowling alley. Feels a little more upscale. Has kinda a Dave n Busters feel. Has an arcade, a lounge area and a pool table. A full bar and restaurant area. My party just came to bowl which was fun. I can't really compare pricing because I rarely bowl. When we got to the lane there was one used beverage glass at our station which was off-putting. You can order food but you have to do so using a QR code which isn't ideal for me but I don't care that much. What doesn't make sense to me is why they even have a waitstaff. Like, there was a cup at our station so they don't clean, they don't take your order or anything. All they do is bring the food when it's ready. No one came back to ask if we needed refills or anything. And despite all of this they still expect you to tip 25%. I don't understand it nor do I agree with it. But I will say that we had a good time. If I was paying, it might have been less fun though. Just saying.
I am writing this review solely to applaud and celebrate Dylan and Russel that served our group at Uptown Alley today. They were outstanding and very helpful to our group. These young men are the standard of exception customer service and should be commended. Thank you gentleman for making our afternoon on the lanes delightful!
Bright light, video games and good times will be had at Uptown Alley at the Manassas Mall. The level of games and endless possibilities of things you’re able to accomplish within the place. There is a bowling alley, restaurant and arcade. There is something for everyone within one location. Their restrooms are clean, full stocked and mopped (non-sticky) floors. The staff was helpful at the register with assistance with getting the kids their prizes. There was twice we attempted to play a game, and the game took our money. It would have been helpful to have a staff member roaming the floor to assist with situations like this. Would rate my visit a 9.99 out of 10. Check this place out, you will not be disappointed.
For fun among friends, it 's not too bad, I guess. I 'm no pro, but the lane we were on was inconsistent it didn 't seem level down near the pins, sometimes the pin setter would drop or knock down a pin, etc.The service was sub par too. We stood in line quite a while to be served and get a lane because they had two people behind the counter, but only one was able to use a register to check people in it seemed. When I asked for a ball launcher for my granddaughter they told me there were only four and I would have to look for one that wasn 't being used myself. And lastly, my son left his Yeti water bottle behind. We called from home and told them which lane we were on and asked them to retrieve it so it wouldn 't get stolen. The person on the phone said, No problem. I 'll go get it for you. We drove back there. My son ran in and asked if they had found it. The counter person showed him the lost and found telling him that this is all there is and it must not have been there. He decided to go check for himself and the bottle was EXACTLY where he had told them it was. There is no way anybody went to retrieve it for him after he had called! The one positive thing they did in the way of service is we were about to run out of time before completing our second game. They extended us for an additional 20 minutes at no charge. That was barely enough time to finish.
Great spot for a birthday!! It’s small enough to keep track of kids but also kept kids aged 6-14 entertained for hours. The server assigned to our party was absolutely amazing and always stopping by to take drink orders or see if we needed anything. We did a party package for 10 kids to bowl (2 lanes/2 hours) food and paid for another 12 adults cocktail drinks for under $550 which is cheaper than most parties. The bowling lanes themselves are nice and clean. Highly recommend. ??
