Art Basil - Manalapan

We’ve been here several times but tonight we couldn’t believe how far down hill this place has gone. The temperature inside was between 78’ 80’. Very uncomfortable. The tables and chairs need to be replaced asap! the chairs are broken, we thought ours were going to fall apart The floors need a total redo. The food was fair. My wife’s angel hair pasta was mush!! Why would anyone come back?? BTW, there were about 12 people in the place at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. I guess we’re not the only ones that have been disappointed with this place. Try Atlantic Ave. Delray, you won’t be disappointed

Lovely lunch today to celebrate birthdays! Manager was very attentive and had many specialty drinks to offer. Their usual menu is available, but a special lunch menu is also offered. So glad they have decided to open for lunch!

The ambience is terrible. The tables and chairs are falling apart. The floor is a total wreck. We ordered calamari that was obviously pre frozen. Very tough. My wife ordered snapper with Angel hair pasta. The fish was also pre frozen as evidenced by zero flavor. The pasta was mush which means it was very overcooked. I had scallops that were good but the Brussels sprouts were under cooked and hard. Save a trip and go someplace else!!!

Our party tried several things and they were all very good. (Mussels, bolognese, veal, and pizza... . Servers were very attentive. And it was interesting to watch the artist paint...

Not only is this a really cool and beautiful artistic type restaurant with a fantastic ambience, but the food was really really good. Eight of us came for a birthday party and the food was delicious!! We had scallops, crabcakes, and lasagna. And for our birthday girl, they made a wonderful dessert platter with tiramisu, cannoli, dark chocolate cake, and cheesecake, which we devoured with joy. All in all it was a wonderful meal and a great occasion for our dear friend’s birthday.
