El Porron Manacor

We searched for nearby restaurants and this one came up as a local favorite. We always like to eat where the locals eat so we decided to try it. It is a very comfortable place but not fancy. The server was friendly but spoke little English. We managed to find out the specials of the day and ordered the chicken (the other was bouillabaisse). We also ordered white wine. When the wine came we also got a bowl of local olives and a plate of lovely bread. We love chicken but this was one of the best we have ever had. It was a roast leg in a very flavorful sauce with fries. Absolutely fabulous. We went to the bar to pay and the girl (who did speak good English) said it would be €12. This seemed like the price just for the wine so we pointed out that we had the specials. She said the specials were €6 each. So then we pointed out that we also had wine. She said that is included in the special. This was one of the best meals we had in four weeks in Europe and certainly the least expensive. Totally recommend this restaurant.

Nos encantó. el cuenco especial y el baguette de salchicha son viciosos. y el delicioso café. más el camarero muy amable. Sí, volvemos a la manacor y volvemos a comer allí.

Excelente relación calidad-precio. Perfecto para los ciclistas. Disfruta de las delicias que sólo los pueblos pueden ofrecer.

Comida casera muy sabrosa con tratamiento muy agradable.
