Bidra med feedbackNearly fifty people travelled with us mostly from Canada and from other parts of the world for our wedding in Mammola. With the help of our incredible hosts at B B Scinà Mammola, planning at a distance was easy and enjoyable. Owners of Il Ponte, Isidore and Luca, aimed for perfection and exceeded our expectations on all levels. According to our wishes, with the expert collaboration of local florist Il Mondo di Elisa and cake created by Panificio Pasticcera Santa Barbara, the stunning décor was representative of the region's natural beauty. The ambiance was magical with an array of professional chefs and servers and traditional Tarantella musicians. The presentation of food and beverages was culinary art at its best. Typical of a Calabrian marriage feast, the many dishes in course after course were exquisite! There aren't enough stars to describe the quality. We are touched by the caring community of professionals who valued every detail in the preparation and unfolding of our celebration and treated us as if we were family members.
Il Ponte Ristoranti deserves Calabria's recognition for refined stucco creations. Whether combining various fruit (strawberries, oranges, fresh or sundried tomatoes), honey, white wine, fava beans, vegetables, etc., the taste of fresh stocco is delicate, refreshing and delicious. The sampling of nine creations offered only two delicately deep-fried delectable versions. Grilled veal steak was also outstanding as well as tomato/basil pasta sauce. Décor and furnishings exceed expectations as does the selection of fine wines, including local stock. Cost is surprisingly moderate, in line with other fine restaurants in Mammola. Be prepared to pay cash, however. This newcomer on the restaurant circuit of Mammola definitely deserves recognition for its overall excellence in dining experience. The chef possesses star qualities. Dining at Il Ponte, a must in Mammola!
I have now been back to this amazing restaurant 3 times and going back again this weekend....the food is wonderful the chef Domenico is a 5* chef a master in the kitchen. The owner is very accommodating his waiters offer a top quality service. Something you don't find in this part of the country unique and special, I would highly recommend the experience the prices are very reasonable. Thank you for a great experience everytime.
A pleasant place, cozy, not very large but a small loft houses other tables. Enlarged externally, large windows and a bright enough environment with different tables. Appetizers: Mixed stocking carpaccio first: ravioli with second stocco: belly of stocking the sauce too red. and unfortunately they were not involtin but simply pieces. mammolese stocco fried mushrooms regional wine and house wine. Family service.
Very nice local with rooms of different styles both very nice, professional staff and available. we took the taste of appetizers that I recommend, and first to head (unfortunately of the first really too salty and kindly have them reparated but always salty). account on euro per head. I would return if I were sure of the sapidity of the first truly unmanageable souls.
