A higher level restaurant in Oostmalle. We had a great time there with tasty and nicely served dishes and associated wines. However, I need to note a few minus points: there were bread crumbles on our table when we arrived, which means that the table had not been properly cleaned up and the table cloth had not been changed after the last guests. Especially during the coronavirus pandemic, it should not happen. Second minus: service mistakes. The waitress served wine to me and my partner. She first served my partner. Than me. However, as the bottle was empty, she refilled only half of my glass and didn 't come back to fill the missing part. There was absolutely enough wine during the whole evening, but such a 'faux pas ' should not happen in a restaurant where you can you pay the bill of 200 euros per person at the end of the day. Meals were very tasty and super fresh and they also looked beautiful, but without any special 'wow ' effect in most of the cases. Local cheeses served before the desert are to be recommended! A great plank! We will surely come back again, but some small adjustments need to take place.
Way too expensive for what it was. Control stiff. Too bad we're not coming back here.
Nice set-up restaurant. Very nice experience to eat here. Got his price tag, but it's worth it in experience. We've taken the 5-course menu with modified wines where the wine is richly filled while your smuggling of delicious combinations on your plate. Compliments to the chief!
Great Christmas diner
