Food Bank Millenium - Male

The food is delicious and delicious. quantity and quality is good. interior ambiente and decorations are beautiful. the employees are well gifted and helpful.

Low light interior with light music and water fountains sound makes the place great. Tandoori Chicken was so soft and well cooked. Paratha was also good. While comparing food quality, ambience with service priced at affordable. There is no sign board outside to find out.

Love the food here. Got smoking and non smoking area. Service is good too. Love the mood.

We went to this restaurant as it was recommended by our host. First impression: slightly dirty and worn, but ok I've seen worse and usually the food would make up for it. We've ordered, I think it was named Bank's Special (or something like that). Generally that should be tuna, rice and some veggies. The dish was over 200MVR, really expensive as in other places you'd get similar food for max of 80MVR, but that'd be still ok if the food was worth it... and we got chicken... The thing is my GF is pescetarian and we specifically ordered this very dish as the menu said tuna. When asked, the waiter said they could make it whatever we want in this style: fish, chicken, beef. Great, I just imagine him being Muslim and coming, let's say to my restaurant, ordering chicken and getting pork and snarky comment that I could do any meat in this style. Eventually we got tuna... and well it was tasty but for the overall experience I don't recommend it.

DONT GO THERE . TOURIST RIPP OFF AND GRUBS. AVOID!! I have been recommended to go to the restaurant by a Maldivian friend. I am a resident and live in Male but I am European. The place is grubby , stains on table cloths ,.. not great but I gave it a try. I have been given a menu with x4 the price of any others restaurant in Male. The staff at office are Indians and order delivery and told me food is very cheap. for example : 1 korma curry with no rice: 160 Ruffia???? the average in Male is 100 WITH RICE I took a korma (doesnt come with rice), 2 breads and NO water. almost 300 Rufia??? this is a joke I heard later that they have a cheap menu for locals and a very expensive menu for tourists!!!! shame on you!! DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS AS THEY ARE MADE BY TOUR OPERATOR GETTING PAID TO BRING TOURIST TO GET RIPPED OFF go to LEMONGRASS instead great indian food , friendly service and much cheaper
