Bidra med feedbackOn a cold day, I thought this was a warm and homely place for lunch. The pot of chai tea was delicious and well presented. We had a bowl of chips, beef and bergundy pie with chips and a salmon, spinach and cream cheese panini.
Food was tasteless service was very substandard had to ask waitress to just bring us some cutlery so we could actually eat. Food was greasy, oily and average. All in all would give it 1/10. 3 of us went one rated it 3 one rated it 4 and I rated it 1. The owner needs to pull his finger out and hire some real staff who know what they are doing. SHAME SHAME SHAME.
Have been here a few times. Food is generally nice, decent portion sizes. Nachos could do with more flavour. Wait staff could be more attentive to large tables spending a lot of money it would be nice to be given table water without having to ask. And a smile occasionally! Overall ok but not much competition in town.
Worth the visit. We stopped off for some morning tea and ordered a coffee, hot chocolate and some scones. The hot chocolate was really lovely served in a tall glass mug topped with a marshmellow. The coffee also hit the spot. The scones were served with jam and cream and were extremely good value.
Fantastic quality food; good sized portions. Food served within a reasonable time. Only thing that would be improved was the room was a bit cold. Could have done with some decent heating in the room, or even better, they could get the old open fire in the room working again. Would definitely eat here again though.
