Bidra med feedbackGreat atmosphere. The samosa/sambusa was disappointingly under-spiced as was the lamb. Was glad to have this as a restaurant choice. Street parking was easy mid-day on a Saturday.
So far my favorite Ethiopian restaurant in the area — it’s been hard to find a place that doesn’t have small portion sizes. Picture is a bunch of things we ordered, all on one plate for sharing between 3 people. Lively and popular place, and next door to a spice shop. Note that they only had bottled water (no tap) and no tej the night we came.
We have often come to this restaurant. My kids and i have been enjoying Habesha since they were about 6 years old. They are very kind and their food is delicious. They offer a variety of vegetarian and meat lovers too. They are great about vegans as well. Their prices are reasonable and it’s a wonderful authentic Ethiopian restaurant. I highly recommend it!
We loved this place! First time trying Ethiopian food. We ordered their veggie combo. The crepe under it has a bit sour flavor which reminds me of sourdough. The veggies and the seasoning are unfamiliar but delicious! The deep fried veggie pocket is also very delicious, nice mixture of green lantils, cabbages, and potatoes!
My honest opinion on this restaurant like I absolutely love it it makes you feel home you get Smiles while your food is being served to you and is just a lovely place it brings back so much memories especially since I lost a dear loved one in my life ever since the passing I haven't tasted good etopia in food and when I first tasted the food it broke my heart and it gave me tears of joy so I give this place a five out of five I don't care who says nothing is perfect
