Bidra med feedbackWe tried to purchase some baked goods around 6:30 pm. The lady behind the counter was very abrupt, and informed us that the baked goods section was closed but she would sell us the goods anyway. My sister wanted something from the baked goods case also but was discouraged from approaching her to buy them. Another woman came up maybe 5-10 minutes later asking to buy a cheesecake. The lady behind the counter again informed her the case was closed but that she would sell her the cheesecake. She was abrupt and dismissive. My suggestion is to post a sign over the baked goods case that even though the the store doesn’t close until 8 p.m., the baked goods case is closed at 6:30 p.m., and can no longer serve customers that want to purchase your baked goods. Thank you.
I love to stop at Donnybrook Fair in the middle of a bicycle ride. It's a great place to grab a coffee and pastry. Atmosphere is very family friendly with three seating area (one outside, one in a winter garden, one inside). Unfortunately the inside area is rather small. The winter garden or outside area are quite cold on winter days. Choice of wood is relatively good and of very good quality. The store also offers a wide array of great quality products from all over the world. Staff is friendly and professional. Service can sometime be a little bit slow.
Staff were sound. They moved our table when it started raining to a sheltered place and were very polite when we ordered. I'm leaving the poor review purely on the food. I ordered avocado and poached eggs with sourdough toast and it was absolutely terrible. Weird sweet mustard on top, a tiny piece of dry toast and undercooked eggs, I was very disappointed. With a coffee it was nearly €13. Won't be going back
Service very slow. Many anxious faces getting restless
Done a great course here today ... lovely atmosphere with lovely people
